A Timeless Touch for Your Special Occasion #431
Our fabric background wall, featuring the Warlu Yumari Jukurrpa (Yumari Dreaming), is a stunning addition to any event, designed to celebrate and showcase Indigenous Australian art. Measuring 3 by 3 meters, this backdrop presents a repeating pattern of Joy Nangala Brown’s hand-painted artwork, rendered in vibrant shades of blue, yellow, and purple on 100% cotton canvas. This fabric backdrop not only adds a culturally rich aesthetic to your event but also provides a meaningful connection to the story behind the art.
The Warlu Yumari Jukurrpa artwork tells the tale of a forbidden love union between a Japaljarri man and a Nangala woman, set in the Yumari site of the Gibson Desert. The design incorporates traditional Warlpiri iconography, with concentric circles symbolizing ‘warnirri’ (rock holes) and reflecting the cultural significance of the Dreaming.
The BDAC NAIDOC Week Family Day was an extraordinary celebration of culture and community, and our Magic Mirror photo booth added an extra layer of excitement to the event. With a stunning Aboriginal theme pattern as the backdrop, featuring vibrant shades of purple, our photo booth became a focal point for capturing cherished memories. Families and friends gathered around the booth, adorned in traditional attire or playful props, ready to strike a pose and create lasting mementos of the day.
